Royal Mail often come into criticism but I have to say I am impressed with my Postman.

I have a small office in Wing which isn’t occupied constantly throughout the day and the post normally arrives at around 8.00am. What I like about our Postman is that if he has an item of mail that needs to be signed for and no one is there when he arrives, instead of leaving a card telling us he had been and we need to make arrangements to have it redelivered or collect it he take the time to come back once he has finished his round at about 11.30am to see if someone is here.

Now that’s what I call good service. I know it isn’t down to Royal Mail and I am just lucky to have such a conscientious postman but I am nonetheless grateful.

If by some miracle my postman is reading this I’d just like to say “Thanks very much”.
