Anybody Understand Triangle Math?
January 6th, 2007 byOkay, so I have been usung my Brain Training game on my Nintendo DS lite enough to unlock the Triangle Math training. With the risk of sounding really dumb and missing something obvious, I just don’t get it.
I dont’ understand the instructions on the game enough to figure out how to get to the correct answer.
Below are the instructions:
It has to be something really simple that I am missing here.

Okay, so I have figured this out now. The instructions are a bit misleading which confused me but all you need do is add the first 2 numbers together, in the example above would = 13 (5 + 8 ). Then add the second and third number (8+1) together = 9. Add the two results together 13 + 9 = 22.

Its a modern way of teaching maths, i took me a while to grab the principle of this from my kids!!
