How to view source code with Safari 6

    July 26th, 2012 byPhilip Nicosia

With Safari 5 to view the source code on a page was a simple task of right clicking the page and selecting view source from the popup menu. Safari 6 for some strange reason no longer has this option which is quite frustrating if you need to view the source code of the page you are on for any reason.

So how do you do it now? The simplest solution I found was to download a Safari extension BetterSource from awarepixel. It lists it as a Safari 5 extension but I can confirm it works perfectly well with Safari 6. Just restart your browser after you have installed it. Better source can be downloaded for free at www.awarepixel.com/safari/bettersource/
