Celebrity Big Brother seem keen to avoid any more controversy probably since the Carphonewarehouse decided to pull it’s sponsorship until things changed.
Well it came as no surprise that Jade and Shilpa were going to be up for eviction and Channel 4 decided to donate all proceeds of the voting to charity so at least they can’t been seen to be profiteering from this awful situation that has got out of hand.
I don’t believe Jade is racist, just completely ignorant. Her behavior has been totally unacceptable.
Jade maintains she is the 25th most influential women in the world. God help us if that is true.
Is this the kind of person you want as a role model? She is fast becoming the joke of society and what impression does she create of the British people to onlookers from overseas?
She is as vile as her mouth and I hope she disappears from pubic grace altogether but unfortunately I don’t think that will be the case.
Anyway, Channel 4 have decided that there will be no crowd tonight (according to Digitital Spy) for her to face at the eviction. What a cop out! Jade won’t even get to know what the public think of her when she leaves.
Okay, is this representative of girls that live in the UK or is it just the celebrities in Big Brother?
I can’t believe how bitchy and two faced they are? Danielle especially. She seems to moan about anything if Shilpa is involved in it but won’t say anything to her face.
They are so ungrateful. Especially when it comes to the cooking.
Danielle, Jade and Jo are ganging up on poor old Shilpa. Some say it is bullying, some say it is racist but most agree it is out of jealoulsy.
Channel 4’s Big Brain has remarked that there are 4 types of bitching that have all been seen in the house.
Base Bitching — This takes the form of insults that are exaggerated and little more than childish name-calling
Bond Bitching — This is where you see 2 housemates bitching about a 3rd, sitting together and whispering. This is bond-bitching with two purposes firstly to cement a relationship with one another by confiding and the other is conspiratational
Assassination Bitching — This is like applying a shotgun to victim’s head and pulling the trigger. It challenges the victim’s character and creates a new view of them in both the public and the housemate’s eyes.
Scorched Earth Bitching — This is really the most strategic form of bitching presenting the bitch in a good light while destroying other relationships in one fell swoop. For example kindly telling someone what others have said about them, then waiting for the bomb to explode. The ripple effect of these strategic bitch-fests have the most long term damage.
That’s a lot of bitching!
Quite how poor old Shilpa is managing to cope with it all is beyond me. It says a lot about her strength of character and the gulf between her and the other girls.
Last night on Celebrity Big Brother Dirk was telling Shilpa and Jermaine about the books he had wrote. In true Channel 4 style as soon as he metioned the titles they blocked the sound out. Maybe an issue due to adverstising restrictions who knows?
Any, a quick search on Amazon.co.uk this morning brings back only 1 result for
‘Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy’
‘The extraordinary story of a member of the A-team. Warning: This book may change the way you look at doctors and health forever. This book will challenge your preconceived ideas about looking at illness, taking responsibility and about actors - particularly Dirk Benedict, star of several hit television series and author of this work. Initially, “Confessions Of A Kamikaze Cowboy” tells the fascinating story of Dirk Benedict’s journey from the big sky country of Montana to the hustle and hype of Hollywood. It also vividly describes his personal odyssey of self-exploration, discovery and growth - from struggling actor to celebrity, from meat eater to vegetarian, from cancer victim to cancer victor. “Confessions Of A Kamikaze Cowboy” is brilliantly written - insightful, witty, humorous and always challenging - a tour de force. You will come face to face with many of the newly discovered truths in Dirk’s life. While you may not agree with everything “Confessions Of A Kamikaze Cowboy” has to say, it will make you reconsider a great many truths in your own life. Dirk Benedict has starred on Broadway, in films and in several hit television series, including The A Team and Battlestar Galactica. When he’s not making a movie or writing screenplays, he pilots his own airplane, composes music, plays the piano and trombone, goes fishing or just relaxes with his two sons. Dirk and his sons live in Montana.’

‘And Then We Went Fishing’
‘Life and death are the themes of this intriguing book by Benedict, author of Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy (Avery, 1991). Benedict’s father was shot by his brother years earlier. Now, Benedict’s wife is giving birth at home. Complications arise with the birth, resulting in Benedict’s reliving his father’s life and death in between his wife’s contractions. As things become more complicated, he takes his wife on a desperate race to the hospital for the final episode in the ordeal, which results in a strapping son named after his father. The intertwining of what happened in the past with the events of the present makes for an excellent story. The humor, drama, and frustration that Benedict experiences results in a moving book for all levels of readers. For most public libraries.
