I recently purchased 1gb of Ram off eBay to install in my Mac Mini but hadn’t actually given any thought to how I would do this.
I expected it to be a reasonably simple process and when the ram arrived I dug out the instruction book that came with the Mac Mini to see how to do this. I was shocked to read ‘No user serviceable parts inside’ and if I wanted to do this I should take it to a service agents.
Well a quick search on Google and I found an Intel Mac mini: Take Apart Guide which gave details of how to take apart the Mac Mini and find the ram so I could upgrade it.
It certainly took all the guess work out of it and even came with pictures to explain step by step what you need to do.
I wouldn’t recommend this to the faint hearted and it could ultimately have an impact on your warranty but if you’re like me (inpatient) and want things done now go check out the guide.

Well it didn’t last long as I thought. Only a couple of hours before it had all melted away.

Never mind. Maybe next week.

Not enough to build a snowman but it doesn’t happen very often here so it’s always quite exciting to see when it does. I don’t expect it to last more then a few hours though.

I am sure (correct me if I am wrong) that you used to be able to browse the Channel 4 Big Brother forum without being a member. They encourage you to discuss news stories on their site but now you have to sign up and join.
That wouldn’t be so bad but each new member has to be approved by the moderators before you can view the forum and they say that can take up to 4 days. Celebrity Big Brother will probably be over before you can even get in.
If you want to know what people are discussing about Big Brother but can’t be bothered to wait or are impatient like me then head on over to the Digital Spy Big Brother Forum
